These are perfect for a small apartment or a student in their dorm! I certainly wish I had something like this while I was in college. It would have definitely saved me a bunch of late night trips to the dining hall. Are there any styles of brewing coffee that you prefer? I know some people can be very particular about it,

      Hello, Rob,

Thank you for sharing. I’m a simple guy. I prefer dip brewing after a long period in love with espresso. 😛

      Cheers!

I’m a huge coffee lover and I love your site!

Which brewing method produces the best tasting coffee in your opinion? I’ve got french press, stove top and a coffee machine (Tassimo for coffee pods) and so far the least sophisticated french press seems to make the tastiest coffee!

    Thanks!

      Hello, Demi,

Thanks for stopping by. In my opinion, It’s the Bialetti Moka Pot. You can check about the many Methods of Coffee Brewing. I also like and dip brewing (either manual or machine) with nylon, steel or golden filters.

One question: Do you use exactly the same coffee on both?

      Cheers!

I wasn’t aware that there were that many different ways to brew coffee. That’s really cool you’ve made a collection of all these different products. What are your thoughts on instant coffee? I can’t stand the taste and it does absolutely nothing for me.

Great work on the product listings!

      Hello, Wing,

Thanks for stopping by. I’m not prejudiced against anybody’s preference, but it seems that my personal taste matches yours… It has more caffeine though… and with milk, it’s ok… (gosh! that last one was hard to remember!)

      LOL

      Cheers!

I like my cup of coffee in the morning. I use sachets but I wondered whether a machine would be better. The dip coffee machines looks quite attractive. As my kitchen is quite small I need something that doesn’t take up too much space.

It is great that your post leads to option on buying them? Thanks very much for this post.

Hi and thanks for such impressive coffee makers reviews.
Actually, I consider myself as more or less knowledgeable coffee specialists, like most of us. After reading your post, I became an even wiser coffee specialist.
Most of all I like Sitka Glass Pour Over Coffee Maker and three cups just a perfect size.

I own a Bialetti Moka pot and I love it! It is great for someone who likes the taste of strong coffee. I have the 9 cup moka pot and it makes about 2 mugs of coffee (it makes 9 espresso-sized cups). I only drink 1 – 2 cups a day, so it works perfect for me. Moka pots are great because you don’t need to buy filters, which saves you money as well as being more eco-friendly.

Hi… great article! I have never known of so many types of coffee makers offered in the market today. And in these 3-cup category of coffee makers I can already find 15 of them. This’s brilliant! Thank you for this informative masterpiece. Just a question though, are there any model of electric coffee makers that produce less noise when use?

      Hello, Kiev,

Yes, there are plenty, but, unfortunately, precise information is hard to get and all we can talk about is from a subjective point of view.

Thanks for sharing your impressions. Cheers!

Coffee is one of my favourite things in the world. Great to know there are so many options out there if I suddenly didn’t have much space on my kitchen bench. Have you reviewed any other coffee makers or coffee machines? We have a Breville Barista Express coffee maker and I just love it, but you do need a bit of space on your kitchen bench.

What is your favourite coffee maker out of all of the above?

    Hi there,

Excellent article and thanks for sharing it with us, really appreciated.

I love trying different coffees and different ways of making a good ol’ cuppa Joe,

which of these makers brings out the best full bodied flavour in the coffee?

Also, could you elaborate a little more on the turkish coffee maker mentioned?
