Since this is a blend of Brazilian coffees, do you know if the origin of the coffees used by Delta are from Fair-trade or other sustainable sources?
I don’t mind paying a higher price tag for great coffee but I do like to know that the growers are being taken care of! 🙂

      Hello, Clare,

That information is not explicitly available, but they do say that it is “a coffee with a human face”. Nevertheless, I can provide you with Brazilian information about such important concern. Most Brazilian producers are subject to coffee market variations. That is true, but I can certify to you, that

the huge majority of producers in Brazil are steady and not being exploited by anyone and do not exploit their employees either.

There are some cases here and there of farmers that don’t run their business properly though, but it is rare.

Thanks for sharing your concern. Cheers!

I’m Canadian so I love coffee and this site represents some very good coffee offerings and unique recipes. Your use of Amazon and its coffee related products is very well done. For sure when I want coffee from Brazil I now know where to go. I love the free wallpaper idea and I am wondering if you are the guy on picture? Overall I found this website very easy to look at and I found the recipe idea intriguing enough to want to try some. I am bookmarking this site for future use. Thanks.

    Hi C Netto Jr,

Great review on the Delta Roasted Ground Coffee! I have never heard of it. I got very curious to try it out. Is it a commercial or gourmet brand? Do you know where I can buy it in Brazil? My favorite brand for a commercial coffee here is Pilão, which, if I can remember well, you have already written an article about, right?

    All the best.

      Hello, Bruno,

Delta coffee is from Portugal. I haven’t tried it anywhere else besides there. I don’t know of any place that sells it in Brazil. Thanks for the kind words. Cheers!
